Akron Vision Center

Our office was founded by Dr. Mark Harris in 1981. He proudly served his hometown for many years, before retiring in July of 2021. In 2020, Dr. Ashley Yearling began seeing patients alongside Dr. Harris and took over patient care upon his retirement. She, and long time receptionist Stacey, plan to continue the excellent care that patients of the Akron Vision Center are accustomed to.

About Us

At the Akron Vision Center, our goal is to provide quality, affordable care. We have expanded our frame selection and now have a price package option for patients on a budget. Our office also accepts most insurances including Medicaid, Spectera, Eyemed, VSP and numerous health insurances. In addition to routine eyecare, Dr. Yearling is also available to see patients for ocular health issues such as sudden changes in vision, eye infections, and foreign body removal.

Our office is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Rochester St. (Hwy 14) and Mishawaka St (Hwy 19) in Akron. We are located in the corner office of the old State Bank building.
